Mursal, a dedicated and brave Polio worker

Ms. Mursal has been working for the Immunization Communication Network (ICN) since 2017 and now she is the District Communication Officer (DCO) for Surkhrod district, where supervises team with 12 clusters.

She is a brave and dedicated girl. She has built strong relations with families in her areas of work. These relations made her stronger enough to ensure the teams work properly and reach every family. With her strong communication skills and trust, she succeeded to reduce the refusal children from 1,000 to 31 only in her area. The strong referral system by ICN has made their reputation very positive in the community and enhanced the community trust on Polio Eradication frontline workers.

Mursal is highly supported by her father to work for people and community which strengthens her commitment to work hard and reach every last child.
