"One day I went to a relative’s wedding," he says. "There, I noticed a ten-year-old girl who could not walk on her own. She moved with difficulty, leaning on others for every step. I was told that she had been infected with polio when she was very young. What I felt in that moment was not just sadness — it was the turning point of my life. Right then and there, I made a promise to myself that I would never allow another child to suffer the same fate."
